Christen is the owner and operator of Bodyworks Massage and Wellness and the founder, director, and lead instructor of Fayetteville School of Massage. She is a licensed Master Massage Therapist and Instructor through the Arkansas Department of Health, with over 20 years of hands-on experience and more than 1,500 hours of advanced training.



A 2006 honors graduate of the Texas Massage Institute in Dallas, Christen became a certified Medical Massage Practitioner in 2008. Early in her career, she worked extensively with patients referred from chiropractic and medical offices, building a strong clinical foundation. From 2007 to 2015, she and her wife, Kristina, successfully owned and operated two massage therapy clinics and a chiropractic practice.

Since 2018, Christen has worked with the University of Arkansas Sports Medicine Department, where she now focuses exclusively on Razorback Football. Her expertise in anatomy, physiology, and performance-based massage has made her a trusted resource for high-level athletes.

In 2021, Christen expanded her work into professional football, providing massage therapy for players with the Baltimore Ravens and later the Kansas City Chiefs. This experience further sharpened her skills and deepened her commitment to excellence in sports and medical massage.

In 2026, Christen reached a major milestone in her career by founding the Fayetteville School of Massage, where she now mentors and trains the next generation of therapists, sharing the knowledge and techniques she has developed over two decades in the field.

Outside of her professional life, Christen enjoys spending time with her wife of 25 years, Kristina, their son, and their six poodles in Fayetteville. She is passionate about nutrition and wellness and is also a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, trail running, mountain biking, and hanging out with her family.
